Quadt chemical immersion pumps of the TP series are robust, dry-run safe single-stage immersion pumps or centrifugal pumps for vertical operation. They are intended for installation in containers, open tanks, gas scrubbers, electroplating systems, pump sump systems, lifting systems (possible with suction pipe extension) and other special applications.
Materials
All parts that come into contact with the pumped medium are made of high-quality thermoplastic materials. The pumps are made of Polypropylene (PP) as standard. Pump Housing screws are made of Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF). The maximum operating temperature is +80°C. FKM or EPDM can be used as the sealing material. This means that it is resistant to many aggressive media. External upper screw connections in stainless steel A2-70. Special versions possible.
Design Features
- Capable of running dry, as there are no seals or plain bearing elements in the liquid area (cantilever design)
- Sealing of the shaft against aggressive vapors by maintenance-free lip seal, V-ring seal running against static counter ring made of high-quality impregnated synthetic carbon (standard) or optionally in stainless steel design such as 1.4571, Hastelloy C4, Titanium. Depressurized container is assumed, negative pressure up to a certain level is permissible after consultation (e.g. for gas scrubber applications)
- Impellers with an inner steel hub as standard as closed radial impellers in injection-moulded design
- Pump Housing made of solid material offers sufficient reserves against abrasive media
- No special motors are required for the drive
- Low maintenance effort, own maintenance possible
- Indoor and outdoor use possible (specify when requesting)
Power Range
Quadt chemical immersion pumps are built in various sizes with different impeller diameters and motor outputs for the following performance range:
- Flow rate up to 280 m³/h
- Head up to 32 mWS
- The speed of the pumps is low-wear 1450 rpm (50 Hz) or 1740 rpm (60 Hz) - this ensures smooth running with a long service life (exception for types TP 32-125 and TP 50-160, 2900 rpm 1 (50Hz only)
- Motor outputs from 1.1 to 34.5 kW
Almost all Standard electric motors can be used. Quadt chemical submersible pumps are equipped with Standard IEC IM V1 or IM B5 design motors. Therefore, the attachment or self-mounting of provided motors or customer-specific motors is not a problem. Additional equipment such as special voltages, special protection classes, rain protection roofs, trace heating, etc. are deliverable.
